Foster Stanback is an active pilot who holds Single and Muli-engine Instrument and Commercial ratings. He is also an FAA-certified Advanced Instrument Ground Instructor. He obtained an Associate of Science Degree in Commercial Pilot at Cypress College and an M.A. Degree in Marketing and Technology Innovation at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He currently serves as an Aerospace Education and Safety officer in the Civil Air Patrol and teaches aviation courses at Cypress College and Orange Coast College.
